Louis McManus (vale, 1956 - 2004)

"Louis was a supremely gifted musician - one of the world's most brilliant players of the mandolin, tenor banjo and acoustic guitar. Louis was a full time member of Claymore for more than four years untill he was tragicaly taken from us.

John Bosua Principle Sound Engineer

John has been in the audio industry for 24 years, serving his training in the 1970’s with an audio production company and progressed as sound engineer with names such as AC/DC (3 years full time),The Rolling Stones,Supernaut, Hush, Billy Thorpe, Savage Garden, Bachelor Girl, The living End, and Air Supply to name a few. John spent 7 years as the manager of recording studio TLC before starting Powa Audio in 1997. John is responsible for overseeing CLAYMORE’s concert productions, and front of house sound engineering.

 

Andre Elhay – Tenor Saxophone

Born Adelaide, 1967. Andre has built a reputation for producing a huge sax sound that has impressed audiences for over twenty years. As well as playing with Claymore, he leads his own funky latin jazz sextet “The Freddie Freeloader Jazz Combo” and can regularly be seen playing at jazz festivals and inner city clubs in Melbourne. Andre has also been spotted playing on television with Peter Andre in the past, however he insists that he was only miming, so it doesn’t count. “I needed the money for my sick Grandmother’s operation. Why don’t people believe me?”

 

Robert Iurato – Sound Engineer / Web Designer

Working in sound for the majority of his working life, inside some of Melbourne's major recording studios and live venues alike, Robert has welcomed the opportunity to work and tour with Claymore in recent years.

He has also been heavily involved in the production and design of this website.

 

 

Paul Fitzgibbons - Photographer \ Band Security

Paul, (Max to his Friends), has been archiving the bands concerts and events for at least the last 10 years. Many of his photographs are featured on the website and for his effort we are eternally grateful.

Glenbrae Celtic Dancers - The Famous Claymore Dance team

Bernadette, Carmel, Caroline,Clarisa, Elisa and Natalie are the core team of dancers who can often be seen perfoming at Claymore's concerts around the country. They are a great group of girls and all of the dances performed are choreographed by the girls themselves

 

Damien Lewis - Photographer \ Roustabout

Damien is another friend who has followed the band for many years, archiving our antics on Camera both in Australia and on quiet a few of our overseas tours.
A great supporter of what we do, and we thank him for it.

Andrew Barcham - Photographer

Andrew is a full time professional Photographer, and a good friend and keen follower of the band, which has led him to many of our concerts, camera in hand. His work is featured throughout the website

Tony & Wazza - The Crew

Tony Hunt is our stage monitor engineer and always makes us sound good to ourselves, which is most important! He has been a long time supporter of the band and we thank him for it.

Warren (Wazza) is our roadie and general," I can help with anything guy", and often does.

Both are invaluable members of the Claymore family.

   

Yannick Chereau - Interpreter and Bombard Player

Yannick is a real friend and supporter of the band. He Is our interpreter while we are on tour in Europe.
He will always try, but cannot promise
And is often as dry, as a dead Dingo’s Donger!
